- In the CATEGORY drop-down menu, select the appropriate category and then subcategory for your Gig. Fiverr will recommend categories and subcategories based on your title. To select a category, just click the relevant link.

You will not be able to change your Gig's category after it is published, so choose carefully and make sure the category matches the services you're providing.
- In the SERVICE TYPE drop-down menu, choose a service type to ensure you appear in the search results related to the category you selected.

- In the Revisions drop-down menu, select the number of revisions you include in your Gig. This is not mandatory, but it is recommended for Gigs where customization or creation is done.

Gig Policies-
A Gig is a service that you can sell and offer exclusively on Fiverr. It’s an opportunity to showcase your talent to potential customers and provide them with all the information they need before they place an order.
Creating a Gig
When you become a seller on Fiverr, we recommend creating one Gig in the beginning. Focus your time and effort into one service. Follow the guidelines below to make your Gig stand out. Once your Gig generates customer feedback and sales, you should consider creating more Gigs.
Title
Your Gig title should be short, clear and to the point. Fiverr helps you start your title with ”I will.” Simply complete the sentence.
Category/subcategory
Select the appropriate category and subcategory for the service you are offering. If you’re not sure, you can search Fiverr’s marketplace for similar services. Fiverr will recommend a category/subcategory based on your Gig title.
Note: Fiverr reserves the right to move your Gig to a more relevant category/subcategory.
Scope & pricing (Gig Packages)
Gig packages allow you to offer services in different formats and prices. You can create up to three packages (Basic, Standard, and Premium) for a different price.
Each Gig package should include different service elements. This includes description, delivery time, revisions, etc. Adding extras for an additional price to your Gig packages can you help upsell your services.
Description
This is your opportunity to introduce yourself to potential customers. Be personable and describe your service to guide customers to make a purchase. For more information, see How to Make Your Fiverr Profile Stand Out.
When writing your Gig description, you should:
- Be clear about your Gig’s purpose and the service you are providing. Please be sure that your Gig is in line with our Terms of Service.
- Always proofread your Gig description before publishing.
- Gig descriptions in English are mandatory. You can use additional languages as long as all the information is also available in English.
- Don't include your personal contact information. If contact or login credentials to external sites are absolutely necessary for your Gig service, please make sure to mention this in your Gig requirements.
- Tell your customer what you need to get started; you should list this information clearly in the Gig requirements area (if the service you are providing cannot be completed without specific information from the buyer).
Media
Only use images, videos, audio or other content fully owned by you. The media you use may also include samples of your work.
Note: Do not use copyrighted images, otherwise your Gig will be removed. Do not provide any personal contact information in any of your media content.
Images
- The images you use should be clear, high resolution (not pixelated), and in the right dimensions.
- You may upload up to three images that describe or are related to your Gig service.
- You have the option to have a Fiverr watermark added to your delivery preview and on completed orders in your Gig portfolio. For more information, see Adding a Watermark to Protect Your Work.
Video
- Make sure your video is no longer than 75 seconds. Videos should be used as a way to showcase your services and/or introduce yourself.
- The allowed file formats are mp4 and avi.
- Once you add a video, a thumbnail will be created for the marketplace. You may select the thumbnail from the video you upload.
- You may not include personal contact information or URLs in your videos. If you are using a sample from your portfolio, it may include your previous clients’ information if they gave you explicit permission to do so.
Audio
- In the Music & Audio category, it is required to upload an audio or video sample.
PDFs
- You can use PDFs to show reports, data, marketing strategy plans, website and mobile app designs, case studies, and visual works (logos, illustrations).
- You may upload up to two PDF files to your Gig. In the Gig PDF area, drag a PDF or click Browse and select a PDF. For more information, see Adding PDFs to Your Gig. Note: Uploading a PDF is optional.
Shipping
Some of the services on Fiverr are delivered physically (arts and crafts, collectible items, etc.). If your service includes physical shipping, please select this option in your Gig.
Note: If you are not selling a physical product, you may not request a shipping fee from your buyers and should not select this option in your Gig. See the ‘Shipping Physical Deliverables’ section in our Terms of Service for more information.
